The Williamstown Football Club is excited to announce a new chapter for the Gulls in 2025, with a rebranded and revitalised membership: The Gulls Social Club.
Following the recent review Future Proofing the Gulls, members supported a move to rebrand from the “Gulls Coterie” to the “Gulls Social Club”. The updated name and structure, which will no longer include a formal committee, will take effect for the 2025 season.
Why the Change?
The shift from “Coterie” to “Social Club” was driven by feedback from members to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment. The term “Social Club” better reflects the community-focused nature of the group and aims to attract new members and families to join in supporting the Club.
New Membership Levels for 2025
To ensure the Gulls Social Club caters to all members, three membership levels will be offered:
– Family Membership ($500) – Includes two adults and two children (15 and under).
– Single Membership ($250) – Ideal for individuals looking to be part of the Gulls.
– Concession Membership ($200) – Available for health care card holders, students (18-25), or volunteers who meet the minimum requirements.

The Gulls Social Club membership comes with a range of exciting benefits, including:
– Free entry to all home games and half-price entry to away games
– Membership card with a choice of lanyard or sticker
– 2 x “Bring a Friend” passes for a half-time gathering
– 1 drink card for two free drinks at Seaview Events Centre
– Half-time catch-ups with snacks and drinks (excludes finals)
– 10% discount on all full-priced merchandise
– One complimentary President’s Lunch (drinks excluded)
– Invitation to the end-of-year Gulls function

Special Offer for Early Renewals
All members who renew before 31 December 2024 will receive an exclusive members’ cap, which can be collected at home games or from the club office at 1 Mason St, Newport.
