The three players will return to the blue and gold following the Club’s historic 2026 campaign, which saw Williamstown reach its first-ever VFLW Grand Final.
After joining the Club as a development player ahead of the 2026 season, Pizzinga made her VFLW debut in Round 10 against Tasmania, earning her opportunity following a standout season with Essendon Doutta Stars in 2025.
While featuring in one senior appearance during her debut season, the young talent has continued to develop within the program, with the Club looking forward to seeing her take further steps in 2027.

Pearce joined Williamstown ahead of the 2026 campaign, bringing valuable AFLW system experience following previous stints with Richmond and Geelong.
The 22-year-old made an immediate impression in her Seagulls debut, playing a starring role in the Club’s 55-point Round 1 victory over Geelong.
Unfortunately, a recurrence of an ACL injury restricted Pearce to three appearances throughout the season. Despite her interrupted campaign, she averaged 17.7 hitouts per game, showcasing her competitiveness and importance to the Club’s ruck division.
With another opportunity to build towards a full season ahead, Williamstown is excited to see Pearce return to the field and continue making her mark in 2027.

Edward, meanwhile, quickly established herself as an important addition to the Seagulls.
Making her Williamstown debut in Round 12, the experienced VFLW player went on to feature in every remaining home-and-away match, before playing a role in the Club’s inaugural VFLW Grand Final appearance.
Previously representing North Melbourne VFLW and Richmond VFLW, Edward brought valuable experience and composure to the side, averaging 7.8 disposals and 5.8 kicks across her season.
Her ability to settle into the side and make an immediate contribution highlighted the potential she brings to the program, with the Club looking forward to seeing her continue to grow in 2027.
With the trio recommitting, Williamstown continues to build its list ahead of another exciting VFLW campaign, as the Seagulls look to build on the foundations established throughout a historic 2026 season.
