The 24-year-old has excelled once again in 2025, averaging 19 touches and 11 kicks per game, with the leader regularly showing courage all over the ground.
Recently, Toner was rewarded for his standout finals campaign, taking out the 2025 VFL Best in Finals player.
In the Wildcard Final against Collingwood, he collected 23 disposals, nine tackles, nine clearances, and a goal.
The following week he reached his 73rd game in blue and gold, edging closer to the 100-game milestone that could be achieved in another two seasons.
Eager to build on this year’s efforts, Toner is determined to push further into finals in 2026.
“Hopefully next year we can play a few more finals, get a few more wins and go get that cup we’ve been chasing,” Toner said.
Toner joins captain Finn O’Dwyer in re-committing to the Club over the past fortnight.
