The 24-year-old midfielder will enter his fourth season in blue and gold after arriving from the Brisbane Lions’ VFL program ahead of the 2023 campaign.
Since joining the Club, Triffett has developed into one of Williamstown’s most important two-way midfielders, combining elite athleticism with relentless defensive pressure and strong leadership around the group.
A product of the Brisbane Lions Academy, Triffett showcased his elite athletic profile at the 2021 AFL Draft Combine, finishing first in both the agility and two-kilometre time trial tests.
At 2025, Triffett joined the leadership team as a deputy vice-captain, progressing into the role of vice-captain alongside Jack Toner at the commencement of the 2026 season.
This past season, Triffett has continued to go from strength to strength, averaging 25.7 disposals, 16.9 handballs, 5.6 tackles and 8.3 clearances per game.
His standout performance came against Tasmania, where he produced a season-high 37 disposals, 24 handballs and 10 tackles in a dominant midfield display.
Triffett joins captain Finn O’Dwyer among the Seagulls already committed for the 2027 season, as Williamstown continues to build its list for next year.
