Bill was a director of the Club, under the presidency of Tony Hannebery, Graham Oborne and Kim Walsh, from 1990-94.
Bill was, of course, also the proud father of our 1990 premiership defender, Greg Minett (71 games, 59 goals, 1989-95, #4 & 42, 1989 & 1992 grand finals, wing WFC 1990’s Team-of-the-Decade).
Bill was also heavily involved with the Newport Baseball Club and was awarded life membership in 1978. He will be sadly missed by the Williamstown and Newport communities.
