Williamstown returns to DSV Stadium this Saturday for a crucial Round 13 clash against the Casey Demons, with the Seagulls looking to strengthen their push for a top-six position as the VFL season enters its second half.
Currently sitting seventh on the ladder, Williamstown enters the weekend with plenty to play for, trailing the top six by percentage and eager to build momentum after winning two of its last five matches.
The Seagulls receive a welcome boost at selection with Liam Conway returning to the playing list following a shoulder injury after Round 7.
In a further structural adjustment, ruckman Braydon Preuss is set to spend more time at full forward alongside in-form spearhead Kal Dawson, who has been one of the competition’s most dangerous forwards in recent weeks.
Dawson has booted eight goals across his last two outings, including a five-goal haul against Port Melbourne before adding another three goals against the GWS Giants last weekend.
Saturday’s match will also mark a significant milestone for one of the club’s most decorated players, with Luke Parks set to play his 50th game for Williamstown.
A two-time Best and Fairest winner, two-time VFL Team of the Year selection and 2026 VFL State Team representative, Parks has become one of the competition’s premier defenders since arriving at DSV Stadium. His milestone game is a proud moment for both Parks and the football club.
The Demons enter the contest in 15th position on the ladder but have shown improved form in recent weeks, winning three of their last five matches. Williamstown will be looking to continue its strong performances at home and secure four valuable points in front of the Seagulls faithful.
The action gets underway at DSV Stadium at 12:05pm, with supporters encouraged to get behind the blue and gold as the Seagulls look to take another step towards September football.
