Ryan Thomson joins Williamstown as Forward Line Coach in 2026, bringing a strong blend of playing and development experience.
A former Richmond VFL player and 100-game Aspley Hornets NEAFL player, including a 2014 premiership, Thomson has built his coaching foundations in the development space with Wilston Grange (QAFL) across the past two seasons.
With experience across multiple state league and community clubs, Thomson offers a well-rounded understanding of the game and player development. He arrives at Williamstown with proven success behind him and is focused on driving connection and scoreboard impact, while embracing the ‘Willy Way’ and building strong relationships across the Club.
