The 25-year-old midfielder becomes the first player from the Seagulls’ VFLW program to lock away a contract for next year, continuing her outstanding career in the blue and gold.

A cornerstone of the program since arriving in 2022, Eaves has established herself as one of the competition’s most consistent and decorated players, and will enter her sixth season at the Club in 2027.

Her 2025 campaign was one for the history books, becoming the first Williamstown VFLW player to claim three straight Best & Fairest awards. Earning selection in the rebel VFLW Team of the Year, finishing fourth in the Lambert-Pearce Medal count with 17 votes, and sharing the Coaches MVP award with Darebin’s Ange Gogos.

Eaves has continued to perform at an elite level in 2026, averaging 18.5 disposals, 5.5 clearances, 4.5 tackles and 9.6 handballs per game, while also hitting the scoreboard with nine goals so far.

Now 64 games into her Williamstown career, Eaves has served as vice-captain and a key on-field leader across the 2023–2026 seasons. Her consistency, leadership and fierce competitiveness have made her a driving force through the midfield and a vital figure within the Club’s culture.

The Williamstown Football Club is thrilled to have Eaves return for another chapter in the blue and gold and looks forward to continuing to unveil its 2027 VFLW squad in the coming weeks.
